Wk 2: Give project proposal.

 

Wk 3: Research different cryptids, finalize line-up; start sketches and concept art.

 

Wk 4: continue drawing concept art and sketches, begin 3D modeling and texturing.

 

Wk 5: Midterm - Proof of Concept.  Show concept art sketches and progress of 3D models. Continue 3D modeling and texturing. 

 

Wks 6-9: Continue 3D modeling and texturing. Research how to make VR apps and basic interactivity in Unity. 

 

Wk 9-10:  Final 160A: Test importing models and making VR environments in Unity. Continue 3D modeling and texturing if necessary. Rig models and start animating.

Wk 11-12: Continue animating models. Import and test animations in Unity. Add VFX if necessary.

Wk 13-14: Work on Unity coding and building VR interface. Begin rendering scenes.

Wk 15  Midterm crit: Test Unity scenes on Oculus. Start compiling all scenes and interactive parts together in Unity. Continue rendering scenes. 

​

Wk 16-18: Continue compiling scenes and testing Unity code.

​

Wk 19: Final 160B: Present Finished Piece in Crit.

Wk 20: Gallery installation and exhibition.
